What are Community Life Groups?

Community Life groups are small groups of people who meet with a purpose and are intentional about having spiritual conversations while following Christ. True spiritual growth happens when people connect face to face. That's hard to do in a church row. With MPC Community Life Groups, we encourage people to move from rows to circles, sharing genuine fellowship with other Christians. Real relationships are built out of shared experiences: meals together, conversations, adventures, serving others together, being there for each other when a need arises, and creating memories together. As we follow Christ together, friendships will emerge and true discipleship will take place.

Ready, Set, Grow!


 Beginning Sunday, May 4th, Ready, Set, Grow will meet on Sunday mornings before worship.  We will review last week’s Scripture portion and sermon points and discuss what we learned and how we applied it to our daily lives.  Then, we will preview and read the current Sunday’s Scripture portion and anticipate what subjects may be taught in today’s sermon.  We will sometimes discuss planned events for the upcoming worship that day…ie. .the Lord’s Supper or a Baptism.

We will meet at 9:30 AM in the tower room in Calvary.

 

Lamplighters

The Lamplighters meet on Monday evenings starting at 7:00 pm, and the location will be in the New Beginnings Room at Calvary Center.  Please contact Syndria Lowe or Patty Doane if interested or with questions.

 

Yahweh Wednesday

Bring a lunch, and join us at noon on the second and last Wednesdays of the month in Trinity Parlor.  Contact Pastor Justin for additional information. 

Lunch Ladies

Lunch Ladies meet every other week to study the Bible, eat lunch, and enjoy each other's company. Most meetings are on Mondays at noon. If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please contact Peggy Samarin or Linda Matchett. 

 

Mighty Men's Bible Study

Attention men! The Mighty Men’s Bible Study is a group just for you! We meet in the Calvary Pastor’s Study during the Sunday School hour, beginning at 9:30. This group will be meeting through the summer months as well. If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please see Don Roths. 

Quarter Life Crisis

This young adult group meets each Tuesday night at 6:30pm in Calvary Center.  The group is open to students from 10th grade through their 20s.  Currently most participants are post high school but we also have a few great members not quite there yet.  Join this group if you want to participate in fun outings and dig into Scripture week by week.
