Summer Service Week

This year's Summer Service Week will be held July 22 - July 26. As a congregation we are called to serve, as Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:7 “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people”. Our week kicks off with a Monday evening meeting. Tuesday through Friday we will be sending out work parties in the McDonald Area. Service Week and 99 Days of Faith will conclude with Worship in the Park on Sunday, July 28.

Please prayerfully consider being involved in this week. Areas of volunteering for this week are numerous: prayer partners, cooking, cleaning, yard work, painting, wood work, electrical and many, many more.

Community Development Projects

Our most recent project has been to design, purchase, and install new entrance and rules signs for Heritage Park in McDonald.  In 2017 James Gilbert was able to complete the entrance signs by building stone retention walls around them as a part of his Eagle Scout Project.  Jim is a very active Covenant Partner at McDonald Presbyterian.

Other projects have included purchasing picnic tables for the new pavilion in Heritage Park, planting and caring for trees along the Panhandle Trail, and contributing to other projects that might be happening in our community.
