Summer Service Week

Service Week will be held July 28-30 and will be based out of Trinity Center with a meeting on Tuesday evening July 27. We will be doing outside work only and if guidelines permit will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

If you prefer to stay in a family pod, we will also be accommodating family work teams. We know there are many needs within our community and we look forward to working together to make a difference. Volunteer and homeowner applications are available on  our church website and a volunteer application is also included in this newsletter. Please contact Tom Maxwell or the church office if you have any questions.

Community Development Projects

Our most recent project has been to design, purchase, and install new entrance and rules signs for Heritage Park in McDonald.  In 2017 James Gilbert was able to complete the entrance signs by building stone retention walls around them as a part of his Eagle Scout Project.  Jim is a very active Covenant Partner at McDonald Presbyterian.

Other projects have included purchasing picnic tables for the new pavilion in Heritage Park, planting and caring for trees along the Panhandle Trail, and contributing to other projects that might be happening in our community.
