Covid 19 Worship Updates

Calvary Sanctuary Worship Continues with Modifications

Social Distancing Masks are required for our service as you enter the building and up to the point where you are in your seat.  Once you have found a seat that is appropriately spaced you may remove your mask if you are comfortable as you are no longer within the minimum distance needed for mask wearing.  Due to the unique nature of our sanctuary, we will not rope off every other pew but will ask people to adjust their seating so that each of us can be safe and comfortable.  We have enough space for everyone.  Remember not to mask the Glory of God in your life like Moses had to mask his! Exodus 34:29-35

CommunionWe have purchased the prepackaged communion wafer and juice kits and they will be available for those who prefer them.  Communion will take place by utilizing the traditional service ware and our customary bread but with members coming forward to receive the elements directly from the trays.  If a sealed vessel is preferred they will be available as well.  We will break bread together once again! -  Let us break bread together on our knees!

Hand Sanitizer Stations We have purchased six touchless hand sanitizer stations that have been installed in both buildings for your safety and convenience. - May our hearts be as clean as our hands!  Psalm 51:10

Nursery Our staffed nursery will be open (Thank you Stephanie) for those who choose to make use of it and we will be very vigilant to sanitize all the surfaces our children come in contact with as well as reducing the number of toys available.  We will make Dr. Luke the Evangelist proud!  Colossians 4:14

Children’s Church We are now hosting Children's Church with Mrs. Sarah Amsler -  If we are faithful to bring our children to the house of God they will increase in wisdom and favor just as Jesus did!  Luke 2:40

Spiritual Life

Please keep investing in your spiritual well being during this season.  Pray for all those around the world impacted by this virus and for our own church family members health and safety.  In this quickly changing environment know that your financial support of our congregation is greatly appreciated and will continue to make a big impact for the Kingdom.  this might be a good time to set up a direct bill pay from your bank to our church or to utilize the online giving system that we have in place through our website.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is firmly in control and we trust him for all things in all times and in all places.  May the Lord protect you and yours as we do all we can to prevent the spread of this disease.

Modern Reformed Worship

Worship at McDonald Presbyterian Church is designed to be engaging and inspiring.  Biblical and exegetical preaching is the anchor of our worship service.  Rev. Justin seeks to magnify the name of Jesus each week by proclaiming the eternal truths found in Scripture and applying them to our constantly changing world.  Our worship service also includes singing of hymns and spiritual songs in worship to Jesus.  We are blessed with an outstanding music department including, a full adult choir, bell choir, worship team, children's choirs and special ensembles.

Children are an important part of our worship service.  A staffed nursery is provided for those who would like to utilize it for their children through age three.  Children ages four through third grade begin their time in the worship service until we call them forward for a children's message.  Following the children's message those students who have checked in at the beginning of the service may proceed downstairs for Children's Church.  Our worship service ends each week with refreshments and fellowship in the parlor area next to the sanctuary.  We hope that you will join us soon as we share in the worship of God together.
